Traditional stocky fire roasted tomatoes, Chile de Arbol and jalapeños give our Stone Ground Salsa a thick consistency that is perfect for dipping or cooking. The stone ground version of salsa is one of the most authentic types of salsas. The process used to create this style is referred to as Molcajete, where a stone is used to crush and grind the ingredients. This is an old Indian Aztec method which is still widely used in Mexican kitchens today.
